We are starting tabling for the blood drive this week.

This Sunday we are working with Saturdays of Service with the Jewish Relief Agency, probably from 10:30 to 1:00.

"volunteers work together to package kosher, non-perishable food in boxes. After packing, volunteers load their cars and deliver the food packages to each of the recipient families according to pre-determined delivery routes, complete with driving directions and maps."

Come up with ideas for Polio Awareness!!

This Saturday we are either:
-working with Saturdays of Service for Books through Bars
-environmental clean up work

We will be tabling in Tarble for the blood drive in a couple weeks, (a week before the blood drive)

We also need to come up with ideas for a Polio fund raising event

Minutes, Jan 23

Here is a summer of the things that we talked about during our lunch meeting:

• We decided that our weekly meetings would be held on Monday nights at 8pm this semester
• We talked about possibly being "guest chefs" for the Ronald McDonald House one weekend
• We discussed the Fun Fair a bit, but will postpone planning until spring is closer
• We talked about becoming involved again in promoting the Blood Drive on campus (Theresa and Renu said they could attend the meeting next Wednesday)

Minutes, Nov 17

We have two possible projects for this Saturday:

1) UC GREEN TREE PLANTING (8:31am - 12:45pm + lunch)
UC Green is hosting a huge planting of 152 trees near UPenn on Saturday. We would leave at 8:30am from the train station to get to Kingsessing Park by 9am. They will be providing lunch and a T-shirt to participates.

2) Saturdays-of-Service: LOAVES AND FISHES PANTRY (11:45am - 4:30pm)
"This weekend Saturdays of Service will be heading to nearby Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, where they really need our help to sort, package, and organize some goods at their warehouse here in Delaware County."

Minutes, Nov 10

This weekend we'll be having our project on Friday night because many people at the meeting wouldn't be able to make a Saturday or Sunday project.

At 7pm, we'll meet in Kohlberg 328 for a movie and small project.

We thought it would be a good idea to place some pop tab containers around campus and in dorms to collect tabs, so on Friday we will be making posters and decorating collection envelopes that we'll place around campus after the movie.

Come out for a study break on Friday night and BRING A MOVIE.

We are meeting at 10:10 in Parrish Circle and walking to Springfield Mall. We will be helping out starting from 10:30 and will be Table Setters for the competition.
